I have found this bug in the GNOME edition of OpenSUSE 12.2 Beta 1 (64 bit). I have not tried in another edition.

When you open the YaST Software Management and write a package name to search it, if «name and description» is selected in the search option, automatically Software Management crashes, and appears a window saying:

YaST got signal 11 at YCP file PackagesUI.ycp:280
/sbin/yast2: line 427: 1920 Violación de segmento $ybindir/y2base $module "$@" "$SELECTED_GUI" $Y2_GEOMETRY $Y2UI_ARGS

This crash only happens if the search option is «name and description». It doesn't happen with all other search options.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open YaST Software Management.
2. Write in the search box with «name and description» option selected.
Actual Results:
Software Management crashes everytime if you follow this steps.

Expected Results:
Software Management should not crash with this action.
