Screenshot showing the difference in download size of available update between the Packagekit updater (342 MB) and zypper patch (328 KiB).

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0.1

The updater applet in GNOME shows an available online update to udev that apparently requires 342 MiB of download!!!

Using zypper patch shows the correct download size for the available patch: 326.2 KiB.

This is bad, because people who pay by the MB for their network connection might be inclined to not download updates if they really believe what is reported on the updater applet.

Reproducible: Always
