Description Marcus Meissner 2012-07-03 15:13:30 UTC
I updated from the 12.2 update repo both kernel and plymouth
and it reported:

No kernel image /boot/vmlinuz-3.4.2-1-desktop found
There was an error generating the initrd (1)
warning: %post(plymouth-0.8.5.1-1.6.1.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1

I suspect plymouth-update-initrd is buggy.
Comment 1 Marcus Meissner 2012-07-03 15:15:15 UTC
yes, only initrd-$(uname -r) is updated, not all possibly installed initrds.
Comment 2 Marcus Meissner 2012-07-03 15:22:18 UTC
i think you can just run /sbin/mkinitrd and it will go thjrough all the kernels automatically.
