Description Rafael Ferreira 2012-08-22 15:55:04 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/21.0.1180.81 Safari/537.1

I installed all the software needed to run KVM (including libvirt and virt-manager) and did all the steps needed to enable virtualization (modprobe kvm, modprobe kvm-intel, systemctl start libvirtd.service, insserv libvirtd).

Problem 1:When I try to install hypervisor and tools, in Network Bridge Configuration, I receive the error "No network running".

Problem 2: When I create a virtual machine in virt-manager, it simply doesn't appear in the list, in the virt-manager GUI.

Reproducible: Always

I solve the problem marking the option Autoconnect in Connection details in Virtual Machine Manager but the error "no network running" continues to appear when I use the option Install hypervisor and tools in YaST.
