Ok. Apparently it's not sufficient to have Supplements: xorg-x11-server in the package spec file for the package to be pulled in during a system update via "zypper dup", although xorg-x11-server has been updated as well. We need to add xf86-video-intel to Requires of xorg-x11-driver-video again. Fixed for openSUSE 12.2 (SR#132305). not sure if a Recommends would be better here, as PowerPC and ARM do not have the package? Well, honestly I no longer trust weak deps like Recommends, but for sure I can add this Requires only for %ix86 and x86_64. New SR: #132471 openSUSE-RU-2012:1109-1: An update that has one recommended fix can now be installed.
