Description Jiri Slaby 2012-10-31 16:52:06 UTC
If I boot with systemd and serial console as a primary terminal, the console is polluted by much text so that I cannot see the login prompt:
Starting D-Bus System Message Bus...
Started D-Bus System Message Bus [ OK ]

I already reported this and this was resolved a year ago. But it seems those guys are so eager in programming that they reintroduce bugs rather easily :/.

Using systemd-44-19.2.x86_64.
Comment 1 Frederic Crozat 2012-11-06 13:54:01 UTC
it was never "solved" (at least, not to my knowledge). Anyway, it should be solved with systemd 195 in Factory.

please test.

What I meant was bug 671677. Maybe this is a different issue from your POV? From my PV, it's the same (login hidden in the woods).

I'll once I'm back from linuxcon. Thanks so far.

Comment 7 Frederic Crozat 2013-03-27 09:17:04 UTC
Is it specific to serial console ? I don't think so (it looks similar to bnc#725913)
