Description Forgotten User HDXUlQsV5u 2012-11-12 20:47:08 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0

I've successfully been through part of the installation process, installing in headless mode using ssh.
After doing a system update of all packages, the system rebooted.
I then logged in, ran yast.ssh again, got the gui and this happened...

1. a small box showed up saying starting networking
2. it disappeared, and the main yast screen is just sat there "Initialising..." with the busy cursor. It never does anything.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Boot with this configured in grub...

title Install -- openSUSE 12.2
   root (hd0,0)
   kernel /boot/vmlinuz.install noapic usessh=1 sshpassword="12345678" install=nfs:192.168.1.15/home/jonb/tmp/opensuse12.2 hostip=192.168.1.10
   initrd /boot/initrd.install

Then install.
After reboot, get the hang.

Actual Results:
See this link for some more nicely formatted data...

Expected Results:
Installation, but it hangs.

Not sure that it's relevant, but my system is raided, with '/' on a lvm on top of raid5.

Well, is it SuSEfirewall2_setup service for which it waits?
Comment 2 Frederic Crozat 2012-11-13 09:06:18 UTC
it is hard to tell. We would need "systemctl status SuSEfirewall2_setup.service" to be sure
Comment 3 Jiří Suchomel 2013-02-13 09:21:28 UTC
Jon, could you test the SuSEfirewall2_setup.service status?
