Sorry I should have been a little more descriptive. You are correct. Host machine is a Dell D830 running openSUSE 12.2 with Virtualbox 4.2.4 (from the build service). Install 12.3 Milestone 2 as a VM. All through the install the virtual screen window is a usable size like 1024x768. After first boot, the virtual screen is 640x480 and there seems to be no way to set the size to anything else. It also appears that the Virtualbox extension packages do get installed during the 12.3 installation process.
