Description Mircea Mucha 2013-02-17 16:32:31 UTC
Platform: Windows XP. I tried to install, under Oracle Virtual Box-4.2.6.r82870, OpenSuse 12.3 RC1 either from DVD-32 bits or Net-Install-32-bits. In both cases, after installation is complete, on the first boot from hard-disk it stops after I see on the console: [ OK ] Started Permit User Sessions. In this phase nothing is happening for a very long time and the system is blocked.

possible duplicate of bug 803258 - does the workaround mentioned there work for you?
Comment 2 Mircea Mucha 2013-02-18 08:27:43 UTC
In the workaound I saw: you can select "Video Mode" "Text Mode". I am not very familar with GRUB2 and I did not find how to change this.
