Description Ludwig Nussel 2013-02-22 15:03:42 UTC
the installer doesn't recognize any hard disks (bug 805250) and then advises to go to drivers.suse.com. That's of no use for openSUSE.
Comment 2 Jiří Suchomel 2013-02-22 16:50:57 UTC
I think we've agreed that the message would be shown for openSUSE as well, not relying it on any control.xml variable. Jiri?

@#2: Hmm, obviously, we will need to adjust the message for openSUSE, since drivers.suse.com is really of no use for other products.
Comment 5 Jiří Suchomel 2013-02-28 13:21:11 UTC
I'm not sure if we want to introduce control.xml option now (esp. in RC phase of openSUSE).

Is it OK just to test for product information and in case of openSUSE, do not show the drivers message?
Comment 6 Ludwig Nussel 2013-02-28 13:33:56 UTC
this bug isn't critical for 12.3. What about fixing it properly via control.xml for future products?
Comment 8 Jiří Suchomel 2013-03-29 11:19:23 UTC
fixed for Factory as well
