Hardware info from Yast

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0

- The hardware information gathering stops while "framebuffer device¨ is shown in the progress bar.
- Hardware information functioned correctly in openSUSE 12.1 and 12.2 with the same hardware.
- Live-cd behaves identically.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start Yast from KDE
2. start Hardware information
3. wait.

I add the output from Yast-hardware-information obtained in openSUSE-12.2.
There are two video systems: one is integrated in the MB (Asus M4A785T-M AM3), the other is a Club3D Radeon 3450. The Radeon card is used and connected to the display.

Hi,
Unfortunately, I have been away for a while: please excuse my late reaction.

Again unfortunately, since my original post, I have removed the pci card with the Radeon 3450.
With just the on-board chip, an integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200, the problem does not occur. In both oS12.2 and oS12.3 the Yast Hardware information functions correctly. Of course I am happy to have a functioning system again. But, if you think it could be really useful, I am willing to reinstall the pci card and to try producing and finding the yast2 logs.
Anyway, thanks for your interest in the problem.

Due to missing YaST logs we cannot debug this issue.
