The splix package (required for some Samsung printers) looks for /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstoraster. 

The Samsung "UnifiedLinuxDriver" supplies this as a small (1.9KiB) GPL text file ( Copyright 2001-2005 by Easy Software Products).  Creating a link to gstoraster also works as an alternative to installing the Samsung supplied package.

I am using a Samsung CLP-500 printer.
