well resume from s2disk has worked now with oS 13.1 RC1. However what still does not work is restoring the master boot record for grub. On bootup after resume from s2disk and shutdown grub still says "error" does not show any boot menu no more an directly boots into oS 13.1. Well, I have just discovered another issue with oS 13.1 RC1 and s2disk. After resume from s2disk the video card is not posted so that the screen stays black; a pm-suspend can resolve this and bring the display back. I could verify this on different computers with ATI and nvidia cards. fixed at least at 2013-11-13. |
