Description Olaf Hering 2013-10-20 21:56:02 UTC
13.1-rc1, fresh install with GNOME desktop

After second stage finishes, an error is shown on console:

YaST2.call: line 58: xset: command not found

Perhaps a missing Requires:?

Yes, X has been modularized and xset is in a separate rpm now.

The xset was added because of bnc#346186 to https://github.com/yast/yast-installation/blob/287973be6a505b5fd927e9ecb5d2f2271fb73733/startup/YaST2.call#L58

It would be nice to test whether autorepeat works without it so that we can remove the workaround.
Comment 2 Ladislav Slezák 2013-10-22 16:22:02 UTC
For me the autorepeat works even without xset, but tested in VBox machine, so someone should test it on bare metal.

Looks like the xset workaround is not needed anymore.
Comment 3 Ladislav Slezák 2013-10-23 07:16:36 UTC
Ok, I just have tested bare metal installation (RC1, i586) and autorepeat works in both first and second stage.

So the workaround is not needed anymore, I'll remove it.

Fixed in yast2-installation-3.0.8.
