on my /home (which is a btrfs file system on top of encrypted dm), when I try to start balance, I'm getting two kernel warnings and the file system goes very quickly to read-only.

Running scrub on this file system doesn't exhibit any error.

Caused by patches.suse/btrfs-fix-negative-qgroup-tracking-from-owher.patch. Reverted, needs more testing. Reproducible by xfstests/btrfs/004 .
