Description Olaf Hering 2013-11-16 09:24:50 UTC
13.1, gnome desktop.

yast2 nis-client does not fit on screen, the (essential) lower parts are cut off.
that happens with 800x600 VM.
after rebooting into 1024x768 it still does not fit, no <ok> or <cancel> button shown. Unfortunately the obvious "ctrl o" to finish maps to "Broadcast".

other yast modules seem to fit at least into 1024x768.

Does it fit the screen in Qt or ncurses?

I have no idea. And it does not really matter if Qt or ncurses fit.
The window is just not designed correctly.

Sorry, which parts are cut of? Screenshots seem to show everything...
Comment 6 Jiří Suchomel 2013-11-20 09:17:39 UTC
Or is this actually the bug 847291?
Comment 7 Olaf Hering 2013-11-20 12:09:51 UTC
Looks like I reported it twice. But see, even with KDE it does not fit if running in a VM. Please adjust the layout so that it fits in 800x600.
