When going to systemsettings, then to printers, I am prompted for a root password, then right after that, I click add a new printer and am immediately prompted for another root password, even thought the original still has root authorization and should be able to spawn another root enabled window.

Hi, could you please specify which environment and if it is yast module or some desktop applet for printers?
Comment 2 Forgotten User SpTvqxsYZX 2014-02-17 22:25:24 UTC
It is the built in printer configuration module in systemsettings. The yast one is different.
The environment is opensuse 13.1, x64
