When a secondary hard drive with nothing system related on it, but that has an fstab entry fails, the system becomes unbootable, with an error message that says welcome to emergency mode, after logging in...", except it never gives me the option to log in, so that message is wrong. The system shouldn't be brought down if a non important hard drive dies, it should still boot but with an error message. Given that this is a server, it makes it unreachable if you are not physically near it.
