I have installed 13.1 with 

zypper-aptitude-1.9.10-12.1.noarch
zypper-1.9.10-12.1.x86_64
libzypp-13.9.0-10.1.x86_64
PackageKit-backend-zypp-0.8.11-2.3.1.x86_64
zypper-log-1.9.10-12.1.noarch

on every operation with zypper from command line hangs up after Loading "Reading installed packages..."

If I try update with --disable-system-resolvables give me segmentation fault

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. zypper se apache

Actual Results:  
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...

and last line of /var/log/zypper.log is

In some cases disabling the update repo seems to prevent the endless loop. 
Bug was fixed (today) for factory. Waiting for backport to 13.1 / 12.3.
