YaST got signal 11 a YCP file /usr/share/YaST2/modules/PackageCallbacks.rb:2159

on install after all NET_install iso the series 008X

YaST2 unuseable, crash after execute Software Management is clicked

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start YaST2
2. clicked Software Management
3. crashed
Actual Results:  
YaST2 crashed

Expected Results:  
normal working YaST2

According to logs it is same issue as in another bug report

Hi ,
what is resolved ?, nothing the same problem with YaST2 after install
NET Install Factory build 0092

Hi,
resolved duplicate means, that we will handle this bug only in one bug report and it is https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=866692 . It is not yet fixed.

Hi,

good fine , ok but what can we done, yast2 is not useable for upgradeing and installing new software, ok zypper but its not the right way when i have
with yast2 a really good installer/support tool (when he works )

see bug I send. It is solving there. Looks like some symbol collision that cause segfault.

Hi Josef,

libproxy1-config-kde4 remove helps partial, i can install and remove programs
but, its not possible to configure network as sample
