YaST2 - 1-click install's window . Japanese Kana character's fonts were broken .

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0

I am testing openSUSE 13.2 Milestone 0 x86_64 with KDE desktop in VirtualBox
4.3.8 r92456 on Windows 7 SP1 64 bit .
Host information: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/86335040/DxDiag17.txt .

I wanted etckeeper .
So I opened Firefox,
accessed to http://software.opensuse.org/package/etckeeper ,
and selected "1 Click Install" .
The download finished ,
"YaST2 - 1-click install" was started .
But, Japanese Kana character's fonts of "YaST2 - 1-click install"'s window were broken .
So I could not read "YaST2 - 1-click install" window's messages .

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firefox .
2. Access to http://software.opensuse.org/package/etckeeper
3. Select utilities -> "1 Click Install"
Actual Results:
Japanese Kana character's fonts of "YaST2 - 1-click install"'s window were broken .

Expected Results:
Japanese Kana character's fonts should be displayed normally .

Japanese Kanji character's fonts are displayed normally .

Either a font is missing (not installed) or the Yast UI does not handle it properly or Qt might not render it properly...

Martin?
Comment 2 Mitsutoshi NAKANO 2014-06-25 23:15:04 UTC
I installed openSUSE-Factory-DVD-x86_64-Snapshot20140620-Media.iso in
VirtualBox 4.3.12 r93733 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service
Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.140303-2144).

In this version, this issue seems to be fixed.
I think we can close this bug report.

It was a bug introduced by porting to Qt5. Thanks for the report!
