I have been reluctant to report this bug as being 100% reproducible as I have tried to dismiss this bug but I can reproduce it time after time after time!

When Mounting of an NFS Client to its NFS Server at time of boot, if its Server is shut-down ALL Network Traffic on the NFS Client will cease up until its NFS Server comes back online. I feel this is due to the weird association of susefirewall 2, stage 2 in part.

See open Bug #856916 about to be tested with latest version of Kernel based NFS Client and Server!

Please more accurately Assign correct clasification
I so want to be wrong about this situation but its 100% reproducible each and every time even if I test the same on different PC's

Please advise what log information or files you need for this by reply NEEDINFO

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create NFS Client and Server Relationship
2.Boot both PC's - test for Internet traffic
3.Shut down NFS Server PC
4.Now the NFS client PC will have No internet access what so ever until its relational server is restored
Actual Results:
The NFS Client in the above relationship halts all Network Traffic when its NFS Server PC is shut-down. Please see open BUG #856916 which cast's its own issues with both kernel Based NFS and unreasonable delay in loading susefirewall 2 stage 2...About to test with susefirewall 2 not running however, I want to preserve status for log info I can get for you before I disengage susefirewall on each and then both PC's.
I can reproduce this on other PC's on my network and the same result!
