I assume you want to change home to be encrypted without loosing the data on it. This is not supported by YaST (and even not by openSUSE, but see http://www.johannes-bauer.com/linux/luksipc/ for a tool). Of course YaST should not run into an error but disallow the task right away. I added a card to the YaST trello task board so that the issue is prioritised with the other tasks. *** Bug 847637 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** We rewrote all this part of YaST quite some time ago. Current versions of openSUSE Tumbleweed and Leap include yast2-storage-ng instead of yast2-storage. yast2-storage-ng is not affected by this bug. So this is FIXED for Tumbleweed and WONTFIX for Leap. |
