Hi Thomas, this is a known issue (bnc#783002) that was already fixed. Please try to update to the latest version of SuSEfirewall2. SuSEfirewall2-3.6.305-2.4.1.noarch.rpm * Tue May 27 2014 meissner@suse.com - susefirewall2-allow-dhcpv6.patch: allow dhcpv6 incoming to allow better function in a DHCPv6 driven network (bnc#783002) Closing as duplicated. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 783002 *** |
Created attachment 597010 [details] firewall-config User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 I observed this behavior only once. It may not apply in general. Description: Notebook default installation with Networkmanager. Trying to connect to an IPv6-only network. In KDE-Networkmanager "needs IPv4" disabled. Connecting fails with "DCHPv6 request timed out". After shutting down the Firewall it works. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: dhcpv6 Server - client configuration , problem at client Actual Results: dhcpv6 times out Expected Results: should get answers
