I fail to get any log output from dnsmasq. I configured it using a file in /etc/dnsmasq.d/desinfect:

log-dhcp
enable-tftp
interface=eth0
bind-interfaces

dhcp-range=xxx.yyy.aaa.bbb,proxy

and also enable conf-dir in /etc/dnsmasq.conf.

journalctl _SYSTEMD_UNIT=dnsmasq.service just reports "Syntax check OK" and nothing else (even not during pxe boot of a client machine). Downgrading to version 2.65 (from 13.1) logging works perfect.

bug 904537 might be a duplicate of this.

Try removing PrivateDevices=yes from the service file.

Ok, then this is a duplicate of bug 904537.
(actually 904537 is a duplicate of this, but I'd say 904537 has the "better" Subject line and thus is more likely to get fixed soon :-)
