Hello,

I noticed that Firefox and Thunderbird have a bunch of English regional dictionaries available, but upon installing additional Myspell dictionaries they are not available in Firefox and Thunderbird. To make them work it requires following this rather un-friendly process described here:
http://www.grim.se/guide/thunderbird-dictionary
Is there any way to make this work automatically for the user? In Arch Linux, newly installed dictionaries are automatically available in Firefox and Thunderbird, and Arch is anything but user-friendly, so there must be an easy way to make this a seamless process.

Thanks a lot!

The planned solution for bug 900639 will resolve this as well.
