Description Peter Tselios 2015-01-02 11:26:21 UTC
I would be nice to have the option to exclude a package from upgrade/update when we run "zypper up".
For example:

zypper up --exclude flash-player

As a workaround, you can lock the package (zypper al flash-player).

The package will remain unchanged until you unlock it again. The lock will affect not only zypper,, but also YAST and packagekit actions.

This version of openSUSE changed to end-of-life (EOL [1]) status. As such
it is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any
further security or bug fix updates.
As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
openSUSE, or consider the bug still valid, please feel free to reopen this
bug against that version, or open a new ticket.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed
during the lifetime of the release.
