lo writer works fine for me with kde5/plasma, would you mind providing more information/logs about crash?

I can confirm, happens on my machine too! Also, sometimes it works until I do something specific (hovering the cursor over the View menu, trying to resize an image/formula etc.). It also happens with other LibreOffice components.

I'm using latest Tumbleweed with the open source radeon graphics.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Where would I expect to find the logs you want ?

To the user, all I see is a crash, and the greeter reappears to let me log in again.

/var/log/Xorg.0.log
and output of dmesg "dmesg > dmesg.txt"
