Description Forgotten User DBWoND-zrO 2015-05-25 17:18:26 UTC
Created attachment 635341 [details]
First part of journalctl -r after logout but before issuing startx and .local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log after issuing startx.

When I logout, either by clicking on the top-right corner, then on my name and the logout, or running gnome-session-quit from terminal, gnome successfully terminates my session but does not show the login window to be able to login again.

Attached the first part of journalctl -r.

If I go to tty6, login with my username and issue startx I get errors. I attach .local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log after issuing startx. tty6 become unusable.

I then go to tty5, login as root and issue again startx. This time I get graphical interface but of course as root.

Regards,

Edwin.

This is worst on TW20150603. System freezes after logout and I cannot use any of the ttys to at least shutdown properly.

Thanks.
