Description Jan Engelhardt 2015-05-28 10:09:11 UTC
# systemctl status basic.target
● basic.target - Basic System

The "status" command of systemctl outputs a BLACK CIRCLE (U+25CF). openSUSE's text console is configured to load lat9w-16.psfu or so by default for European installs, and this font does not have a mapping from U+25CF to glyph position 0x07 (the bullet point image).

(I expect most fonts in kbd don't.)

Therefore, running systemctl on the text console often leads to a replacement character (often a box with a question or something similar). This question box annoys dimstar, I would just live with it :-)
