Description Vincent Untz 2015-07-08 09:06:23 UTC
It seems that from time to time, when I upgrade to latest tumbleweed, my desktop is killed. After some digging in the logs, it appears that gdm is not happy to see systemd-logind disappear, and so dies -- and everything goes away with gdm.

Apparently, we have "/usr/bin/systemctl try-restart systemd-logind.service" in %postun (also run when upgrading the package), and this would be the cause for it...

Any reason we restart this service?

Btw: The real bug is that Xorg isn't able to reconnect to systemd-logind
