CCing all users reported by osc maintainer lightdm Somebody please pick it up It's been already fixed in lightdm-*-greeter packages. I forgot to close this bug, sorry. |
oS Leap lightdm doesn't show the greeter. This turned out to be a problem of update-alternative, the default greeter isn't properly symlinked to the target, and resulted in an empty file and lightdm aborts due to the missing config. The latest lightdm-{gtk|kde}-greeter packages have some adjustment of the way to use update-alternative, and this doesn't seem working on SLE12-based system. Reverting the changes fixes the problem.
