Lock screen does not show text and flickers with each keystroke
Rebooting corrects the issue for a short time, ~10's of minutes. @x11: This looks more like dirver issue than kwin one. Esp. since kwin was not updated :) @Matthew: could you please check if you have some errors in dmesg or /var/log/Xorg.0.log? Also did you hand written some configuration option for your card in xorg.conf? Can you find from /var/log/zypp/history what components were updated right before it broke? I'm sorry, I no longer can reproduce this issue. I do not remember when I applied a patch that fixed this issue. @Tomas I have not done any hand configuration of xorg. conf. Ok, thanks for the feedback! It at least looks like the issue was fixed. Let's mark it as such. |
Created attachment 642527 [details] Dolphin has text and rendering problems Following a recent set of patches from zypper for OpenSUSE 13.2, there are several KDE components that do not display correctly. Text is missing or renders incorrectly, and some keystrokes result in flicker. I have observed this at least with: 1. Kwallet while entering passwords to unlock 2. KDE lock screen (CTRL + ALT + L) 3.
