Starting Software Management (Yast) from Aplication Menu/Settings/Software-Management failed while it works correctly for starting Yast from the same menu.

Frans - if you can still reproduce it, it will be great, if you can upload core file, so we can inspect internal state of program, thanks.

I confirm, the bug is still present in final release.

A workaround is to launch Software Management from command line :
xdg-su -c '/sbin/yast2 sw_single'
The root password is then asked and only then the gui Software Management works again.

apparently a Gui version problem.

the commandline version / ncurses works.  it is only the software management module that has the problem, afai can find.

Hello,

Close this bug since the not working option is no longer available in the menu options of Leap 42.1 final, so I can not reproduce it anylonger. Menu content has changed a lot in the final version.
