42.1 inherited many core components from the SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 codebase which was forked off 13.1 so some components were indeed downgraded compared to 13.2 but that is not a bug, unless something does not work. No problem. I was only suprised a liitle bit, when saw downgrade-difference in version value. So decided to ask about. seems, not only me is interesting: https://features.opensuse.org/320513 However it is not a bug, I can imagine that the version update could done. The new version has the same functions and syntax. However, there can be some minor language dependent problems possible: YaST preconfigures language dependent console keymaps and fonts that must correspond with those distributed with kbd. The update means: - The version update itelf. - Check YaST differences in keymap definitions. If there are differences, check that keymaps / fonts / maps are still present in kbd. |
