Description Forgotten User yM3F60q4RJ 2016-02-25 08:55:57 UTC
I setup i/o scheduler e.g.: cfq during installation.
But this setting is not stored in the system and must be setup after finishing installation a second time.

Please attach YaST log-files from installation, see http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Report_a_YaST_bug.

I think the request was for the YaST2 install log, not a start log.

The y2log has a size of 6,8 MB.
I can´t upload it.
Which parts of y2log should I upload here?

As explained in https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Report_a_YaST_bug :

Everything, use compression.

Install log

It took me a while to find where to configure this:

Installer
-> Proposal summary
-> System -> System and Hardware settings
-> Button "Kernel Settings"
-> Tab "Kernel Settings"
-> "Global I/O Scheduler"

Yes, this is correct.
Improves system performance.

This bug was fixed in yast2-tune 3.1.7.1 and 3.1.9, but we forgot to close it.

Thanks for reporting!
