Description Forgotten User 07mU0EGZXx 2016-06-06 17:08:18 UTC
openSUSE Leap does not provide a 32bit vaapi-intel-driver package.

Arch does: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/multilib/x86_64/lib32-libva-intel-driver/
Debian and Ubuntu do as well via multiarch.
Comment 1 Stefan Dirsch 2016-06-06 20:58:36 UTC
Ok. So could you provide a patch for our package (appropriate baselibs.conf)? Which applications or lib, which have been built against libva, is only available as 32bit version?

I am not yet familiar with OpenSUSE (long-time Debian user), but I will try to find my way around it and provide a patch.

Steam requires the 32bit version of the library in order to enable hardware-acceleration for rendering in-home streaming.

Thanks. It's always useful to know, why a package has been requested. In that case it makes perfectly sense to have it.
