Description Maik Wagner 2016-06-10 16:11:50 UTC
Hello everyone,

I am having problems getting my WLAN adapter to work on my "Tumbleweed" system 20160605. The LXDE session starts up with an error window mentioning "No session for pid 15003" where the number itself varies.

The adapter is an "MT7601U Wireless Adapter" configured as wlp0s19fu3 using the mt7601u module.

Also I can't restart or shutdown using the LXDE menu.

I will be happy to add more information if needed.

Regards,

Maik

Hello everyone,

I would also like to point out that I tried an upgrade with the 20160607 ISO-image. Unfortunately it hangs when the mt7601u* driver is loaded and doesn't go any further so I am assuming that there is something wrong with the kernel module.

20160605 had an issue with pam-config which wont resolve after update to the next snapshot. Please see original report for resolution.
