Sometimes some custom repositories are not available.
Then YaST2 Software manager is reading */repodata/repomd.xml for long time and fails, and ask user what to do; if user selects to Skip this repository, YaST2 still will try to access this repository (at stage of creating/updating catch for accesible repositories)! And YaST2 will again ask in same dialog what to do! I suppose, that YaST2 must remember, that used skipped repository, and not to try access it again.

Tested and reproducible in openSUSE 13.2 and Leap 42.1

Mindaugas, please provide yast logs (run 'save_y2logs' and attach the archive).

In this case, I can reproduce with no longer existing repository: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/LibreOffice:/5.0/openSUSE_13.2/

I can no longer reproduce in openSUSE 42.2 too, seems already fixed in supported opensuse versions

I can reproduce in openSUSE 42.3, but only if I open YaST2 Online Updates module. (In YaST2 Software Manager module - I can not reproduce)

This is automated batch bugzilla cleanup.

The openSUSE 42.3 changed to end-of-life (EOL [1]) status. As such
it is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any
further security or bug fix updates.
As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of 
openSUSE (At this moment openSUSE Leap 15.1, 15.0 and Tumbleweed) please
feel free to reopen this bug against that version (!you must update the
"Version" component in the bug fields, do not just reopen please), or
alternatively create a new ticket.
