Description Martin Schröder 2016-10-26 22:33:57 UTC
After upgrade to the latest kernel patch, apps in KDE can not mount any USB devices (like USB sticks anymore): The devices are detected and a mount is offered, but that fails.

Manually mounting them via sudo mount is still possible, but doesn't help e.g. Calibre and Kindle (which is not detected with 3.16.7-45 anymore).

It works with
Linux dream.local.oneiros.de 3.16.7-42-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Jun 28 12:20:57 UTC 2016 (35ab731) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Could you check the test kernel in
  http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/tiwai:/bnc1007035/standard/
?

There is a known regression in ACL handling (bsc#1007035), and it's fixed in the above.

please verify with latest kernel update
