Bugzilla – Bug 1038987
LibreOffice Page Header Fails to Display/Print
Last modified: 2021-07-26 09:45:35 UTC
When running LibreOffice 5.2.5 thru 5.3.3.1, reports designed in Base with a page header fail to display or print when run. The page header worked fine in 5.1.5. I reported this issue to the LibreOffice bugzilla and they could not replicate. In fact, another OpenSUSE 42.2 user reported that his bug was fixed if he used the RPMs from the LibreOffice site, rather than the OpenSUSE repositories. The LibreOffice team asked me to report the bug on this site to get it fixed.
This is automated batch bugzilla cleanup. The openSUSE 42.2 changed to end-of-life (EOL [1]) status. As such it is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of openSUSE, or you can still observe it under openSUSE Leap 15.0, please feel free to reopen this bug against that version (see the "Version" component in the bug fields), or alternatively open a new ticket. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed during the lifetime of the release. [1] https://en.opensuse.org/Lifetime
Still Exists in OpenSuse 42.3, Libreoffice 5.4.6.2
Still Exists in OpenSuse Leap 15.0, Libreoffice 6.0 Workaround: Header is hidden only. Increase height of header in page settings
Still exists in Leap 15, Libre Office 6.1.3.2. Workaround suggested does not work. Page Header size is already 1.55".
Could you please try it with recent libreoffice?
Problem not present any more in current LO 7.1.3.2 on Leap 15.3. (Supposedly disappeared quite earlier on 15.2 since LO 7.x)
closing as per previous comment
