Description Forgotten User Ge8A28Ztio 2017-05-22 14:44:01 UTC
I've set up a couple of IMAP accounts (GMail, GMX, Posteo) using the mailbox assistant. I was able to finish the setup wizard, but I cannot modify any IMAP account afterwards.

# Steps to reproduce

- Install Kontact on OpenSuse Tumbleweed (currently 5.5.0)
- Create a new IMAP account using the Kmail Account Wizard
- Open Kmail configuration
- Go to "Accounts"
- Open "Incoming" tab
- Select an account and click "modify"

# Actual result

Either nothing happens (no window opens or any other view) or the status of the IMAP account changes from "Ready" to "Unable to start". Restarting the worker is possible.

# Expected result

Kmail opens the configuration view for the selected account, so that I can modify it.

# Additional information

I installed akonadiconsole, but I was't able to modify the IMAP there ressources neither. I selected one of the IMAP agents and then clicked "Configure... → Configure natively" but nothing happens. When I select "Configure remotely", then a popup shows up. Whatever button I click there makes Akonadiconsole crash:

Unable to obtain KConfigXT D-Bus interface of agent "akonadi_imap_resource_2"
KCrash: Application 'akonadiconsole' crashing...
KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/lib64/libexec/drkonqi from kdeinit
sock_file=/run/user/1000/kdeinit5__0
[1] + 4662 suspended (signal) akonadiconsole

No idea if this is related, though.
