hwinfo: USB-sound configuration with YaST more comfortable
Last modified: 2014-03-18 07:21:25 UTC
In 10,0 the only way to configure a USB-sound device is to start yast2 sound, click add, check "show list of kernel modules", usb audio. In SuSE 9.3 the device was shown automatically in the detected sound-devive list.
Please attach YaST logs and hwinfo output, see: http://www.opensuse.org/index.php/Bug_Reporting_FAQ#YaST

will do this in 10.1
Steffen, is this still on your todo? Or has this been fixed in the meantime?
No idea if something needs to be done. Andreas or Ladislav, is this still an issue?
I don't know, I don't have any USB soundcard for testing. Andreas, could you check it in 11.0? It should be enough just to boot a Live CD, you don't need to install it.

The problem still exists in opensuse 11 beta 1.
And in 11.0 final too.
I think this bug is obsolete by now.
