Description Andreas Klein 2005-08-18 18:54:06 UTC
In 10,0 the only way to configure a USB-sound device is to start yast2 sound,
click add, check "show list of kernel modules", usb audio.
In SuSE 9.3 the device was shown automatically in the detected sound-devive list.

Comment 5 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-09-05 14:53:06 UTC
will do this in 10.1
Comment 6 Christoph Thiel 2008-04-25 09:17:27 UTC
Steffen, is this still on your todo? Or has this been fixed in the meantime?
Comment 7 Steffen Winterfeldt 2008-04-25 11:03:17 UTC
No idea if something needs to be done.

Andreas or Ladislav, is this still an issue?
Comment 8 Ladislav Slezák 2008-04-25 12:58:54 UTC
I don't know, I don't have any USB soundcard for testing.
Andreas, could you check it in 11.0? It should be enough just to boot a Live CD, you don't need to install it.
Comment 9 Christoph Thiel 2008-04-25 13:54:13 UTC
*** Bug 231260 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Comment 10 Andreas Klein 2008-04-27 15:18:34 UTC
The problem still exists in opensuse 11 beta 1.
Comment 11 Werner Lemberg 2008-07-09 16:00:29 UTC
And in 11.0 final too.
Comment 12 Steffen Winterfeldt 2014-03-18 07:21:25 UTC
I think this bug is obsolete by now.
