Description Kasimir _ 2017-09-08 10:20:20 UTC
The factory images of the Raspberry Pi 1 are currently published in the repositories for the armv7 architecture and are also netvertised as armv7.

Look here:
http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/tumbleweed/images/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-raspberrypi.armv7l-2017.08.13-Build1.18.raw.xz

It is an armv6 image, but is referred to as armv7.

All armv6 image in the tumbleweed are published in the armv7 folder and are called armv7.

This is in image for the Raspberry Pi 1 with armv6 architecture, but is referred to as armv7 and is in the armv7 folder:
http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/tumbleweed/images/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-raspberrypi.armv7l-Current.raw.xz

Should really be so:
http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv6hl/tumbleweed/images/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-raspberrypi.armv6l-Current.raw.xz

Except the rootfs images that have armv7 and armv6 in name:

No, the armv6 images will continue to be called armv7.
Look here:
http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/tumbleweed/images/

The Raspberry Pi images[1] are for the armv6 architecture and the Raspberry Pi 2 images[2] are for armv7.

[1]http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/tumbleweed/images/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-raspberrypi.armv7l-Current.raw.xz
[2]http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/tumbleweed/images/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-raspberrypi2.armv7l-Current.raw.xz

Since i do not know where to look for the error, i can not help synonymous. Sorry.

The images have the right name again and are also published in the armv6 repository.

Example:
