Description Marcel Witte 2019-06-05 19:13:22 UTC
The Java 11 packages in the Java:Factory repository obsoletes the Java 10 packages since the last update, so it is not possible anymore to install both versions in parallel. For example as Developer it may be necessary to have both versions installed, if you have older projects depending on Java 10

Sadly this change is now even in Tumbleweed

This change has been introduced by bsc#1137264 (which is not viewable by non-authorized users).

I am developer too and I will have the same issue after it will propagete into Leap. With microservice architecture we have many Java versions ranging from Java 8 to Java 12 and I need them simultaneously installed.
