Bugzilla – Bug 1137382
java-11-openjdk obsoletes java-10-openjdk
Last modified: 2022-04-07 09:06:19 UTC
The Java 11 packages in the Java:Factory repository obsoletes the Java 10 packages since the last update, so it is not possible anymore to install both versions in parallel. For example as Developer it may be necessary to have both versions installed, if you have older projects depending on Java 10
Sadly this change is now even in Tumbleweed

I am developer too and I will have the same issue after it will propagete into Leap. With microservice architecture we have many Java versions ranging from Java 8 to Java 12 and I need them simultaneously installed.
