Description Nick Dordea 2020-02-21 16:45:21 UTC
Hello ,
This bug describe one of some of Bug 1164010 leftovers .
They have been mentioned but it seems that bug 1164010 is in dormant state.

After the system has become usable its quality is much much lower than before the last maintenance installation (among ather things) kernel-firmware_20200117 and some core libraries . As per 1164010 kernel-firmware was regressed to kernel-firmware-2019-lp151.2.9.1

Here are the network issues :

My machine is connected to the internet via a Netgear Wifi Cable Modem Router . Machine's network is managed by Network Monitor .
The eth0 is coming up nicely and is stable .
However wlan0 is not coming up and tries to connect but fails with the Message
Authorization supplicant timed out .
Temporarily I disabled the automatic connect .

Could you please help me to get wlan0 operational .

Thank you,
ND

Hello,
In vain, I was waiting for any move in the bugs : 1164010, 1164586, 1164592.
The questions are not answered ... the issues are still not fully fixed .
No need for further wainting ...
As far as I am concerned , the bugs : 1164010, 1164586, 1164592 should be closed with reason .... dormant for almost a week .
