Description Max Lin 2020-08-11 11:17:00 UTC
## Observation

openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-extra_tests_vagrant@64bit fails in
[add_box_virtualbox](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1359152/modules/add_box_virtualbox/steps/29)

## Test suite description
Maintainer: dancermak. Test vagrant, vagrant plugins and the vagrant boxes

## Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build [20200110](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1141522)

## Expected result

Last good: (unknown) (or more recent)

## Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: [latest](https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/latest?arch=x86_64&distri=opensuse&flavor=DVD&machine=64bit&test=extra_tests_vagrant&version=Tumbleweed)

Fails to add virtualbox box while vagrant up.
Stderr: VBoxManage: error: Failed to load R0 module /usr/lib/virtualbox/VMMR0.r0: SUP_IOCTL_LDR_OPEN failed

Dan, I've no idea what is the component here should belong to, could you have a look and reassign?

This is probably a duplicate of https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1175201
Comment 2 Larry Finger 2020-08-18 16:34:38 UTC
It is a duplicate of boo#1175201. The only work around would be a temporary 2-line patch adding two exported globals to the standard kernel - a fix that was rejected by the openSUSE kernel developers.
