Description Frederic Crozat 2021-06-22 21:42:23 UTC
When trying to use zypper patch:

Problem: the to be installed patch:SUSE-2021-598-1.noarch conflicts with 'go-race.x86_64 < 1.15-3.13.1' provided by the installed go-race-1.15-bp153.2.1.x86_64
Problem: the to be installed patch:SUSE-2021-716-1.noarch conflicts with 'go-doc.x86_64 < 1.16-3.17.1' provided by the installed go-doc-1.15-bp153.2.1.x86_64
Comment 1 Marcus Meissner 2021-06-23 07:15:11 UTC
another overlap between backports and SLE which should not have happened.

avctually not, its seems to be your fault.

There is no go1.15 in backports.

Please reinstall 15.3 fresh (or at least go1.15* fresh)

are you sure ? From zypper logs:

# Additional rpm output:

Comment 5 Marcus Meissner 2021-06-23 12:22:57 UTC
i looked at the wrong thing. I looked at go1.15 while I should have looked at

"go" the wrapper package.

go the wrapper package ... comes from both SLE and Backports.

Same problem here.

I got no extra backports repo enabled.
Except the repo
  https://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/$releasever/backports/
which was automatically added by openSUSE-release-15.3-lp153.146.1.x86_64.
Comment 7 Marcus Meissner 2021-07-20 15:41:43 UTC
so far it should be okayish now, as we removed all the bad SLE upadtes from the meta information.
