Description Thomas Wolff 2006-03-29 10:25:54 UTC
* In KDE konsole, left mouse click scrolls the screen down by 1 line.

* Script highlighting (for Greek, Cyrillic) yields blinking screen attribute
  in KDE konsole.

* In mlterm, the quote marks style menu is confused by the Hebrew quote mark
style entry, showing one complete screen line within the menu right-to-left.

* When editing a CJK encoded file in an 8 bit terminal, entering a non-ASCII
character does not work properly (e.g. ΓΆ in GB encoding).

* In a non-Latin-1 encoded 8 bit terminal, the terminal encoding is not
recognised and handled, displaying wrong characters and line markers.

* Printing with the fallback method (lp/lpr) is not forced into UTF-8 mode.

Don't put unrelated issues in a single bug.
Comment 2 Stephan Kulow 2006-03-29 11:04:14 UTC
to ignore the rest: my konsole does not scroll. Can you describe a bit better how you reproduce this?

1. Start konsole.
This is konsole --version
Qt: 3.3.4
KDE: 3.4.2 Level "b"
Konsole: 1.5.2
on SUSE 10.0

2. In konsole, start mined
This is mined 2000.11

3. Left-click mouse in the middle of the window screen.
Screen scrolls down by 1 line.
Comment 4 Stephan Kulow 2006-03-29 12:54:43 UTC
so this is a mined problems
Comment 5 Thomas Wolff 2006-03-29 13:10:59 UTC
Yes, sorry if that was not clear. That's why I started the bug title
with mined 2000.11...

The remedy is to update to mined 2000.12.
Comment 6 Mike Fabian 2006-04-21 16:43:26 UTC
Sorry, it is too late for SuSE Linux 10.1. Moving the product to SuSE Linux 10.2.
Comment 7 Mike Fabian 2006-07-12 11:04:01 UTC
I submitted mined packages updated to version 2000.12.2 to
STABLE (next version of SuSE Linux).
Comment 9 Mike Fabian 2006-07-12 13:49:48 UTC
Packages for older versions of SuSE Linux are now also
available in the openSUSE build service, see:

http://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=mined&project=M17N

Download of the build packages also here:

http://software.opensuse.org/download/M17N

for example:
