While booting from CD the system hangs up at:
NET: Registered protocol family 2

It is not possible to get the system running with any bootparameter.
The next thing is that there is no visible output before you change resolution with vga=771 

It is possible to boot with Alpha 3 CD, than abord installation.
Within in the text mode you will change the CD from Alpha 3 to Alpha 4
and than tell the system to start installation. It is possible to install
the system but there are still some more errors.

here is a workaournd: 

You have to add "maxcpus=0" as a bootoptions. This is not within the safe-settings yet.
